This policy explains what information Franco Automation collects when you use this website or our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain and short on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

What we collect

• Details you give us — when you use the booking form or chat with our assistant, we collect your name, business name, mobile, email, and whatever you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
• Basic technical data — standard server and analytics information (such as page requests and approximate location) needed to run and secure the site.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health details) through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us here.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or demo, and provide services you ask for.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising to you.

Our chat assistant and AI

Our website chat is powered by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). Messages you send to the chat are processed by that provider, which may store or process them on servers outside Australia (including the United States). We keep what is sent to the AI to a minimum and do not use it to train public models. If you would rather not use the chat, you can contact us by email instead.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the service providers we need to run the business, and only so they can perform their function:

• Website hosting and delivery (e.g. Vercel)
• The AI chat provider (Anthropic)
• Appointment scheduling (e.g. Cal.com) and email/notification delivery

Some of these providers are located overseas. Where information is disclosed outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to see that it is handled consistently with Australian privacy standards.

Information we handle for our clients

When we build or run a system for a business (for example an AI receptionist), any customer information that flows through that system belongs to that business, not to us. We act on the client's instructions, keep it separate, and do not use it for our own purposes. Each client's own privacy policy governs how that information is handled.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected or as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email hello@francoautomation.com and we will action it within a reasonable time. If you have a privacy concern we have not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
